THE AFRI BAR MENS SPA

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Afri Bar Men’s Spa Terms and Conditions serve as an intended and permitted use as a non-exhaustive list.

Stigma and discrimination for some Black and African American gay men who are gay or bisexual who maintain relationships with men and have sex with men can increase their chance of experiencing violence which can include behaviors such as bullying, teasing, harassment, physical assault, and suicide-related behaviors and the primary purpose of the Afri Bar Men's Spa rules, policies, and regulations is to lessen the effects of homophobia, stigma, and discrimination by curating an environment free of fear and oppression for all Guests.

The Afri Bar Men’s Spa is a private gay men’s social club, spa, and gym.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all Guests please adhere to the following rules.

Afri Men's Spa Guests acknowledge:

Guests acknowledge and agree that homosexuality and bisexuality do not offend them and that public nudity and pornography may be visibly present within Afri Men’s Spa.
Guests must be male and 18 years of age or older with a valid government-issued ID.
Each Guest of the Afri Bar men's spa enjoys the right to privacy concerning their personal and private activities at the Afri Bar and all male spas.
Guest agrees not to disclose any personal information or activities of other members, staff, or guests of the Afri Bar without written, expressed consent of both the members, guests, and staff.
Guest acknowledges they are entering the Afri Bar male spas for their own personal, recreational, and social activities.
Unless fully disclosed to Afri Bar and Afri Resort Management, Guests affirm they are not at the Afri Bar or Afri Bar Mens Spa as a representative, agent, or member of any governmental agency, nor are they entering the Afri Bar or Afri Bar Mens Spa to gather or provide information regarding or concerning the Afri Bar or Afri Mens Spa's, its members, staff, or guests to any third parties.
Guests understand that entering any Afri Bar Mens Spa requires Guests to provide full and truthful disclosure of the purpose of their visit to the Afri Mens Spa.
Upon entering the Afri Mens Spa, the Afri Bar, or any facility of the Afri Bar, Guests waive all rights and liability from the Afri Bar for any loss, harm, or damage to their Person or their property, which may be or has been the result of their negligence or activities at the Afri Bar or any facility of the Afri Bar.
The use of steam rooms, saunas, and other equipment and facilities is at your own risk. The Afri Bar is not liable for any loss, personal injury, or deaths resulting from misuse within applicable law.
Guests hereby release and hold harmless the Afri Bar from any liability for injury to their Person or their property caused by negligence of the Afri Bar, its agents, or employees applicable to the law.
Guests assume all risk whatsoever which may accompany or be the results of visiting the Afri Bar Men's Spa applicable to the law.
Guests have been advised to seek medical and/or legal advice before entering into an Afri Club Mens Spa agreement.
Guests acknowledge signing an Afri Bar Men's Spa entrance agreement freely and voluntarily and with full understanding of its terms and conditions.
Guests declare under penalty of perjury that they have read and understand the entire terms of the Afri Bar Mens Spa agreement and that any and all of the information provided by the Guests is true and correct.

Afri Bar Mens Spa Rules and Regulations

Guests acknowledge and agree that homosexuality does not offend them and that public nudity and pornography may be visibly present within Afri Men’s Spa.
Guests must be male and 18 years of age or older with a valid government-issued ID.
Guests acknowledge the purchase of a locker or cabin is necessary for entry into any men's spa.
All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at any time.
We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel, or other item and to deal with any unattended object, bag, or luggage in such a way as we consider appropriate.
All Afri Bar Men's Spa have an eight (8) hour capacity per stay and no oversized backpacks, luggage, or suitcases, may be permitted within the men's spas.
Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind are prohibited.
Loud, harmful, violent, disorderly, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior is prohibited at all times.
Illegal substances not permitted by the State are not permitted at any time. The smoking of tobacco is allowed only in pre-designated smoking areas. E-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke "only" may be allowed in open spaces designated as smoking areas for vapor smoke.

Prohibited Items and Behavior

The sale of goods or services, or the display of goods or services unless prior written approval has been obtained.
The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind unless prior written approval has been obtained.
Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operations of the Afri Bar or any part thereof.
Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.
Self-defense or restraining devices (e.g., pepper spray, mace, duct tape).
Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons.
Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects.
Horns, whistles, large megaphones, or artificial noisemakers.
Recreational devices such as drones, remote-control toys, or any recording device.
Unlabeled loose powders and suspicious liquids of any kind.
The selling, possession, use of, or solicitation of drugs, alcohol, weapons, or other contraband is strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate expulsion and notification of proper authorities.
Prostitution as defined by law is strictly prohibited.
Sleeping in public areas is prohibited.
Causing damage to or tampering with club facilities or Afri Bar property is strictly prohibited.
The photography or video-recording of any kind within the men's spa is strictly prohibited.
Personal computers, selfie sticks, recording devices, and/or video cameras.
Unauthorized access or entry into areas or areas designated for certain individuals only.
Unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational, or otherwise, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or other contributions or donations.
Photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity for unapproved commercial purposes unless prior written approval has been obtained.
Obstructing the walkway of any Guests to include entry to the locker rooms, cabins, bathrooms, entrances, stairways, corridors, halls, or landings.
The behavior of sexual predators which may result in targeting, stalking, sexual assaults, bullying, teasing, harassment, and physical assaults is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed above that we determine may be harmful or disruptive in our sole and absolute discretion.

Sexual Health.

The promotion of dignity, equality, self-affirmation, and visibility as opposed to shame and social indignity is the champion that drives our “ultimate resort and social experience” open to the guests, visitors, or strangers of the Afri Bar. We champion an environment where our Guests are treated and valued with respect regardless of social categories.
Our Guest’s sexual health is always a top priority. Your sexual, physical, mental, and social state of mind reflects upon your sexuality. A positive approach to life is encouraged as you meet others at the Afri Bar and may engage in a safer and more pleasurable experience both sexual and non-sexual and we encourage all guests to be aware of their sexual well-being.
The Afri Bar will be held harmless for any actions that may arise between consenting adults as safer sex is always encouraged. The Afri Bar encourages honest discussion between Guests if questions arise regarding one's status and the disclosure and negotiation of one's status are key elements of safer sex. The Afri Bar may provide free, readily available condoms and may offer free HIV/STI testing (at our discretion) onsite as a courtesy resource to help you make the best decisions about your sexual health.

Guests Privacy.

The Afri Bar takes the privacy of our Guests seriously. We maintain a strict no cellphone, cameras, or other recording devices are allowed in the men’s spa areas. Cellphones may be maintained within your locker or within the private cabins rented by Guests but not maintained on the floor of the Afri Bar men’s spa.
Guests found in possession of any sort of camera, recording device, or cellphone while in spa areas are subject to an immediate non-refunded dismissal from the Afri Bar Men’s Spa.
For the safety and security of the Afri Bar, our Guests, employees, and all else we may utilize video recording and or monitoring during our operations but recording may be limited in some public spaces within the men's spa for the enjoyment of Afri Bar men's spa Guests. All other recording is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry, or require a person already admitted to leave the Afri Bar or any part or portion thereof, without refund, liability, or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require in our sole and absolute discretion.
