The Afri Bar


The Afri Bar is a dual-purpose, commercial resort and private residence “privately owned” by The Afri Bar, LLC, and Urban Ground Resort, LLC, that operates as a year-round commercial gay resort and private gay residence offering their Guests access to the Afri Bar amenities, activities, products, goods, and services which are completely situated on Afri Bar property and are deemed “privately owned” yet public permissible (at the discretion of) spaces for the purpose of defining these spaces.
The Afri Plex Community is a pedestrian-friendly community with limited vehicular traffic on the grounds of the Afri Plex Community thereby reducing traffic noise and increasing a sense of calm and serenity for the residents of the Afri Plex Community with the potential of establishing residency for up to 7,000 thousand residents defining the Afri Plex Community as a “micro-city” where immediate access to the Afri Plex is limited to residents, their guests, and employees working on the grounds on the Afri Plex with “permissible” access to all others.
Distinct living for a distinct lifestyle, The Afri Bar, LLC, offers a mixed-income, micro city-scale development, known as the Afri Plex where life is made differently with distinct curated communities consisting of luxury apartment homes, townhomes, and a proposed home community with all of life’s everyday amenities.
Limiting access to the Afri Plex Community means:
  • An increase in privacy and enjoyment for all Afri Plex Community residents and their guests,
  • An increased sense of belonging to a clearly defined and established community,
  • Reduced traffic noise creating a sense of calm and serenity,

  • A reduction in crime as the Afri Plex Community is a private gated community and more.
