RACE, RACISM, HOMOPHOBIA
The Afri Bar, LLC, has most recently decided to incorporate a question and answer session during their upcoming town hall meetings that will address the ongoing topic of race, racism, homophobia, and race relations within the gay community for the purpose of keeping our property habitable, enjoyful, and safe as the safety and enjoyment of our guest enhances our community, resort, and environment for all guests and employees. THE AFRI RESORT
On April 11, 2024, Urban Ground Resort, LLC, owner of the Afri Bar proposed converting the Afri Bar into the Afri Resort Hotel & Spa incorporating a two hundred (200) room hotel tower increasing the offerings and amenities to Afri Guests.
